Position Summary
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Local Leadership team and HQ HR team in supporting the operation. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee/labor relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment, safety, and employment law compliance.
The HR Generalist position is an ideal role for an individual who has a strong working knowledge of Human
Resources practices and principals and is ready to expand their knowledge and learn. The individual must have a strong service approach; ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and on multiple projects and initiatives; maintain the day-to-day administrative functions of the department; ability and enthusiasm for learning; a strong service approach and attention to detail. Job Responsibilities
Responsible for working with our operations team, and the union to address high level Human Resources needs, including but not limited to:
Operations Leadership to find root cause issues and provide guidance for improvement as needed.

o Submission and review of background check reports
o Verification of I-9 documents o Communication with managers to gather critical documents and information (new hire applications, employment authorization cards, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) related documentation, I-9’s, etc.)
o Meeting with new hires and employees to assist in completing job applications and to fulfill onboarding requirements (English and Spanish) o Assisting with large scale hiring meetings and orientations to support large onboarding’s of new accounts (night and weekend work sometimes required)
Operations Support:
o Safety Program Oversight o Aid leadership in developing and effectively implementing a training program and strategy
o This includes dispersing training materials, creating a more formalized program and training schedule with managers
o This also includes tracking safety training completed at relevant sites
Position Requirements
