UHY LLP Hiring for Accountant Job at Novi, MI Full Time

This is a direct hire with our client in Novi, MI. The Accountant will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Computing taxes.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements:

• 5 years of Accounting experience
• Ability to be flexible and do general accounting work for a variety of companies (smaill and middle market companies)
• Position is working onsite in Novi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
