LOCATION: Incumbent may work remote but must be located in or near Vaya’s catchment area
SALARY: Depending on qualifications & experience of candidate. This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime compensation.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:
The Organizational Development Advisor will be responsible for assessing needs for leadership and organizational development at Vaya. The role deploys formalized training programs, and implements tools that facilitate improvement in individual, team, and organizational performance. Under the leadership of the OD Manager, this role consults with leaders, collaborates with other HR partners, and seeks alignment for overall organizational vision to develop and socialize solutions that enhance organizational success through people strategy.
Each OD Advisor may have a separate “book of work”, dependent upon strengths and areas of expertise that may include, organizational culture/experience, engagement, new employee onboarding, organizational design, talent reviews, succession planning, team building, coaching, change management, leadership and talent development strategies, diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, performance management initiatives, and other special projects as assigned.
Note: This position requires access to and use of confidential healthcare information or protected health information (PHI) as described in laws addressing patient confidentiality, including, but not limited to, the federal HIPAA law, the Confidentiality of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Patient Records law, 42 CFR Part 2, and various state laws. As such, the individual filling this position shall be required to be trained regarding such laws and shall be required to observe those laws in his/her capacity as an employee of Vaya Health. The individual filling this position shall also sign a confidentiality statement as an employee of Vaya Health.

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Change Leadership or Business Administration degrees with:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position must have the ability to establish appropriate and respectful relationships/partnerships with organizational personnel. Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team approach. Ability to assume a helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet the needs of providers, consumers or families served. Works within the established ethical guidelines developed for the profession.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES:
Certifications: Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), or change management certified/trained (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, Big 5 consulting firm methodology, etc.) are highly desired
