Accounting Analyst

$2B SEC Financial Services Company – $90K plus annual bonus

Accounting Analyst The Sizzle:

· Role can be 100% remote, can be hybrid if local to one of their offices (Austin, Boston, Chicago, New York, Palm Beach, Short Hills, Westchester)

· Targeting 1-2 years of experience, Big 4 preferred

· Will look at banking experience

· Can move into other areas of interest within organization

· CPA preferred

Accounting Analyst Minimum Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting

· Certified Public Accountant (or in the process of obtaining the license) preferred

· 0-2 years of experience within the financial services sector

· Prior experience at public accounting firms preferred

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Accounting Analyst will work closely with the senior accountants on month-end and year-end closing process

· Accounting Analyst will prepare and analyze accounting transactions across various financial items, including financial instruments, trading revenue, expenses, fixed assets, etc.

· Prepare monthly journal entries, and preform reconciliations on trading positions, general accruals, and other assets

· Prepare and maintain expense analysis, investigate variances

· Accounting Analyst will assist in completing audits and preparing periodic internal and external reports

· Assist with other accounting ad-hoc requests and projects

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
