What you’ll be doing…

You will be working on a team that is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of IPSS, FNPS, and the Traffic Aggregation services provided to civilian government agencies. IPSS provides active mitigations to secure government email and DNS. Traffic Aggregation provides advanced analytics for all of an agency’s Internet traffic.This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

You will serve as a Lead Project Manager for a large, complex task order and shall assist corporate stakeholders in working with the Government’s authorized representative, the task order-level COTR(s), government management personnel, customer agency representatives, and various other internal/external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the overall management of specific tasks and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. You will plans and supervises projects and/or tasks involving complex information systems development and operations.

• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources.
• Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
• Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects and/or tasks.
• Assisting in the definition of project scope and goals.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with goals
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed.
• Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government sponsored security clearance.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Advanced degree.
• Progressive experience in the development of systems in broad-based information technology (IT) settings involving the use of contemporary tools and techniques for information systems development.
• Experience in project development from inception to deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks of varying levels of size and scope of effort.
• Experience in the management and control of funds and resources.
• PMP and/or ITIL certification.
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum).
• Leadership skills.
• Cost and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to delegate effectively.
• Time management skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Prior experience managing projects on a managed services program for the federal government.
• Technical background and training.
