The Role
We are looking for a qualified Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Sales team in the US. You will be responsible for a number of accounts (OEM/Tier1/Specifier) mainly characterized as Service or Partner with our Transportation Strategic Business Unit and for growing network and identifying opportunities within these accounts to build a pipeline of opportunities across the market segments and to follow-up and coordinate their development until commercialization and delivery of the first 12 months revenue.

As the Business Development Manager, you will work to satisfy customers’ needs, wants and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You demonstrate excellent communication- and negotiation skills and operate customer service oriented. Ultimately, you will be able to grow (y)our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
As the successful candidate you will have the ability to proactively develop an in-depth knowledge of the account’s business, culture, drivers, strategy, goals to anticipate/mitigate risks, identify new business and strategic partnership opportunities. Pursuing and proactively supporting our Business Development Teams, while leveraging internal cross-functional teams to grow revenue and maximize profits.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or relevant role. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM are seen as an advantage.
We invite people applying for this typical home-office based role, if they have a proven track record for pro-active, open-minded Business Development activities, preferable in specialty chemicals / high performance polymers or sales of injection molded components/extrusion, ideally linked to the supply chain of the Transportation sector.
Our Offer to You
We offer competitive base salary starting at $100,000 up to $120,000 commensurate on experience and skills demonstrated, as well as a company car allowance. In addition to a competitive salary, we also provide a range of attractive benefits, including company pension and healthcare schemes.
