ABOUT THIS ROLE: The Revenue Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of revenue accounting transactions and ensuring accounting processes and procedures are conforming to the applicable principles of accounting and regulatory requirements in a global public company for a(n) assigned book of customer(s).
Job Description:
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As our Revenue Controller your role includes:
- Finance Department full cycle customer contract expert
- Month end journal entries
- Customer billing and intercompany revenue reconciliation
- Owning AR Ageing, Financial Statement presentation and reconciliation
- Supporting Internal & External Audits
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
Managing a team, you will also be responsible to:
- Recruit new team members
- Train, coach, and develop team members
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFS and:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5-10 years accounting experience
- Advanced user of Excel
- Competent in application of COSO 2013 Framework and/or knowledge of maintaining SOX compliance in a public company
- Ability to interpret operational activities into accounting transactions in the general ledger, record departures from US GAAP / IFRS
- Work effectively & efficiently within a remote office environment employing Microsoft 365 Applications & Tools
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- CPA, CMA or advanced degree (MBA, MA)
- Management experience
ABOUT YOU:
- Aptitude to work in an Agile Environment where opportunities for change are continuously identified and acted upon
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements & make recommendations
- Embrace new technology; quickly grasp concepts of various subsidiary ledger software systems
This role requires travel on occasion.
