Sales Associate/ Interior Design Assistant

We R Fabrics Design Center is a family-owned small business. This retail store specializes in fabric, custom soft furnishings and décor.

We are looking for an individual who is interested in learning about the design process. Currently, we have an opening for both a full time and a part-time position.

Full-Time must be available these work hours: Tues-Fri 9:30-5:30 on Saturdays 9:00am – 5:30pm.

Part-time position must be able to work Saturdays 9:00am -5:30pm. Some availability during the daytime on Th and/or Fri 10:30am – 5:30 pm would be helpful, but not-required

Qualifications & Skills

• Experienced background in retail sales and/or customer service

• Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities

• Highly organized, and detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• We need someone who is flexible and is willing to pitch in as needed.

Education – some college preferred, completed coursework in interior design, fashion, creative arts, etc.

Language – must be fluent in English

Other Requirements:

• Proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

• Familiar with a POS system

• Able to lift 50 lbs.

• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.

• If not an American citizen, must provide authorization to work in the United States

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
