Staff Accountant II ( 5 + Years Experience Required)

As a Staff Accountant II, you will work with a team that operates in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to be a part of the company’s growth, while further developing your accounting skills.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of five or more years of retail accounting experience.
Role Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to support the Controller on all financial affairs including reviewing interim financial statements and reconciling and preparing supporting schedules. This position is also responsible for general and inventory accounting, maintaining the organizations overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual, analytical and has strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, professional verbal, and written communication. Looking for time management skills, accountability, prompt follow through and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Staff Accountant II:
Reviews Expenses – Quarterly GL Detail review
Monthly, quarterly and annual financials reports to management
Develop Annual Budgets
Accounts Receivable/Collections for Repairs
POS Tax Table Nexus Thresholds
Employee Reimbursements
Inventory Financial Questions
Reconcile POS to QuickBooks daily account posting
Daily of 7 maintenance accounts (Contra)
Consignment Payments
Donation Entries
EOM and EOY Close
Manage Bill.com entries
Close POS monthly
Monitor Coop reporting
Statement Reconciliations
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5-7 years of financial management experience.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
Exceptional verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility.
Ability to use good judgment and strong problem-solving skills
Works well with others
Ability to demonstrate professionalism with all clients
Ability to show sensitivity to confidential matters.
Dependable
Takes initiative, follow through, and works independently
Strong work ethic in time management
Exceptional attention to detail
