Administrative/Medical Specialist

WJM Professionals is recruiting individuals with medical/administrative experience to provide support in the clinic or scheduling department at Fairchild AFB, in Spokane, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with patient check-in/out and verify documents for correct information.
• Provide overall support to the facility including administrative support, scheduling, medical records maintenance, and answering, screening, and routing telephone calls. Assist with insurance information.
• Receives, locates, and stores medical records.
• Prints diagnostic reports.
• Assists in routing patient charts for review.
• Attaches required supplementary documentation and any other applicable documents to the patient’s file.
• Performs end-of-day Computer-based Patient Record processing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of general medical ethics, health records administration, and telephone etiquette,
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Possess a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.
• Familiar with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
• At least one year of experience performing administrative duties.
• Possess CPR or agree to obtain.
