Position opening for Cardiology Practice Administrator
Join three invasive and three interventional cardiologists in a premier, active, growing practice that was established in 1976 as a sole proprietor and a professional corporation in 1978. The primary office is located in Casper, Wyoming. There is no managed care. There are two certified nurse practitioners and two certified physician assistants.
The practice has a state-of- the-art nuclear medicine system (accredited) and echo/ultrasound system (accredited). Structured Heart is performed by two interventional cardiologists. Additional programs under development.
The office is located only one block from the primary hospital. There are 9 outreach clinics that service two-thirds of the state since 1978. The primary hospital offers two state-of- the-art cath labs and an active open-heart surgery program with two board certified cardio-thoracic surgeons. The community of 66,000 is centralized in the state. There are excellent outdoor activities that include water/snow skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, and mountain biking. The community arts include the symphony and theatre and easy access to large metropolitan communities, when desired. There are public and private schools from elementary through Masters´ programs offered. There is no state income tax. This community offers a wide variety of housing.

The Practice Administrator is the senior level position at Wyoming Cardiopulmonary Services, P.C. and presumes mastery in the areas of leadership, physician practice management, financial management, health insurance negotiation and contracting. The Practice Administrator builds operational infrastructure to support current business and projected growth, and have a vision for sustained growth and profitability while offering the highest quality care to our patients.

Requirements
Master’s Degree/MBA preferred. Graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Management or related field. Five or more years directly related experience in management of a specialty or multispecialty practice of similar size and structure, or other related healthcare entity. Experience in cardiovascular specialty a plus.
