YaizY is a next-generation, “passion to profession” learning organization serving students in middle and high school. We offer engaging and challenging courses that offer students rigorous and fun ways to learn about coding, multimedia arts, animation, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, esports, and many more! Our classes are designed by learning experts with both strong pedagogical and industry experience to inspire and build on the natural talents and interests of students. Our programs of study are delivered online in group settings, led by highly trained senior teachers and supported by teaching fellows. We are growing quickly with our K-12 partners serving students across the United States.

The Position

We are seeking Teaching Fellows to help teach fully-remote, live classes.

What You Will Do

• Help teach online classes for students in middle and high school
• Work with the senior teacher to guide student groups and breakout sessions
• Engage students with a passion for the content and a friendly, flexible attitude

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Have now or are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent experience
• Interest in a variety of subject areas such as marketing, animation, game design and computer science
• Experience in and/or a strong desire to work at an EdTech startup
• Strong interest in interacting with middle and high school students, including from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven track record of reliability and responsibility for meeting goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid work authorization in the US

Pay Rate

• $15 per hour starting pay, with potential to increase as you gain experience

How many hours a week?

• 10 to 20
