The Sr. Career Services Advisor position is an essential role within Yellow Tail Tech! You will work with our students in developing the soft skills that will help position them as marketable and land their FIRST IT job . In this role you will counsel the students throughout their matriculation with us in job readiness, resume building, and leveraging their LinkedIn profiles. The position will also require experience in speaking with potential employers in the IT industry, and marketing our students as the best fit for their roles.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 yrs experience in Career Counseling (preferably in a higher education institution)

• Minimum 2 years Working with adult learners

• Minimum 2 years experience creating and editing technical resumes

• Experience Optimizing LinkedIn Profiles

• Time and Calendar Management Skills

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Availability Evenings & some weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior University or Higher Education experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
